Day 5

Hi Everyone!

Today's travels took us on a walking tour of Seville.  Our tour guide Francisco took us through the maze of streets and shops, pointing out monuments and interesting locations.  We are fortunate that today marked the beginning of the Seville Spring Fair, called the Feria.  As you can see, the women were dressed up in their flamenco dresses and and party was on.  There were hundreds and hundreds of tents set up by companies and families where there was food and music.  The kids walked around for an hour or so to "people watch".  After visiting the Feria, we had dinner and then went for a river boat ride through the center of Seville.  The temperature today was 36 degrees celsius.  I don't know the exact conversion off the top of my head, but boy was it hot on the afternoon.  All in all it was a great day.  Tomorrow we are off to Grenada and then to the coast.

Francisco enlightens us on the history of Seville.
